Her films have played in numerous international competitive festivals and venues including: Museum of Modern Art, New York, Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson, AZ, New York Video Festival, Frameline Gay & Lesbian film festival in San Francisco, NY MIX Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, Rutgers International Film &er; Video festival, New Jersey International Film Festival, Creteil International Women's Film Festival, Torino International Film Festival, Arizona International film festival, Paris Film Festival, Bologna International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. Awards include Best Short for New Jersey International Film Festival, Best Documentary at Arizona International Film Festival and Rutgers International Film Festival. Best Short at Los Angeles Flicker Film Festival, and Best Short at San Diego Girl Film Festival.

Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Minda received her B.A. from the University of Arizona in creative writing, classics, and media arts. She received her M.F.A. from California Institute of the Arts in experimental film and video. She now resides in San Diego, California and is an Assistant Professor at the California State University at San Marcos in the Communication Dept where she teaches film and video production and media theory.
